Acceptance

By requesting an account, signing in, or using any part of GAMA-RADS, you accept these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that institution.

Who may hold an account

Accounts are granted to individuals at verified institutions — clinicians, radiology residents, medical students under supervision, and researchers with an approved protocol. Requests are reviewed by the department. An institutional email address is required; personal addresses are not accepted.

Accounts are personal. Sharing credentials, or working under someone else's account, ends both accounts.

Not for clinical use

Permitted use

• Teaching, learning, examination preparation, and departmental case discussion.
• Research covered by an approved protocol, within the scope recorded in your data use agreement.
• Methods development and benchmarking against cohorts you have been granted.

What you must not do

• Do not attempt to re-identify any subject, and do not link repository data against any other dataset for that purpose. This is the most serious breach available on this platform.
• Do not redistribute cases, cohorts or exports outside the people named in your approval. That includes posting images to messaging groups, social platforms, slide decks for external audiences, or preprints, unless the licence for that case allows it.
• Do not upload data you are not authorised to contribute, or that has not cleared de-identification.
• Do not use automated collection against the platform beyond any documented API, and do not attempt to circumvent access controls or rate limits.
• Do not use the platform to train models for onward commercial release without a separate written agreement.

Attribution and publication

Work that uses the repository must cite GAMA-RADS and acknowledge Departemen Radiologi FK-KMK UGM. Where a data use agreement names contributing investigators, follow the authorship terms recorded there. The required citation format is on the data governance page.

Send us the reference once published. It is how the department demonstrates the collection's value and keeps it funded.

Intellectual property

The platform, its design system and its documentation belong to Universitas Gadjah Mada. Imaging and annotations remain under the terms recorded for each contributing study. An account grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable right of access for the purposes above — it does not transfer ownership of anything.

Availability and warranties

The platform is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, that annotations are free of error, or that pipeline outputs are fit for any particular purpose. Maintenance windows will be announced where practical.

To the extent Indonesian law allows, the department is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Suspension and termination

Access can be suspended immediately where there is a credible suspicion of a re-identification attempt, redistribution outside an approval, or a security compromise. Other breaches usually get notice and an opportunity to explain. Serious breaches are reported to your institution and, where required, to the ethics committee and the supervisory authority.

You may close your account at any time. Audit records of past access survive account closure — that is what makes governed access meaningful.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts.

Changes

We will give notice of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after that date means you accept the revised terms. If you do not, close your account.
